On Friday 28 October, eleven Taylor sites joined our incredible Subcontractors for hearty Hard Hat Day BBQ lunches – collectively raising $17,000 in support of the Property Industry Foundation. These meaningful events are a chance to connect for a good cause, as we raise vital funds for homeless and at-risk Australian youth.
Special guests including Sydney Harbour Federation Trust attendees and the Property Industry Foundation’s Kate Mills, CEO, joined Team Taylor at Sub Base Platypus. This impressive project is the next stage in the Harbour Trust’s plan to revitalise the historic landmark – the completed project will link the Torpedo Factory to the greater Sub Base Platypus site. This extraordinary site created a welcoming space for attendees to enjoy Lebanese-inspired cuisine curated by Moeco Plumbing, and beverages supplied by DECC.
Taylor has proudly supported the Property Industry Foundation since 2009. Over recent years and despite the impact of COVID-19, Taylor has made substantial progress engaging with the Property Industry Foundation to create a deeper partnership, which has resulted in a year-on-year increase in advocacy and fundraising across the organisation.
Our regular participation in industry events assist the Property Industry Foundation to plan ahead each year and make long-term improvements by increasing the availability of transitional housing for homeless youth (aged 25 and under) through the PIF House Program.
