Taylor has proudly secured four major wins at the 2025 Master Builders Association NSW Excellence in Construction Awards, showcasing our expertise in innovation, sustainability, and heritage restoration.   First Building, Bradfield City Centre 🏆 Winner:         1. Sustainability - Commercial: Open Price Category        2. Best Use of Timber 🏆 Nominated: MBA National Excellence in Construction Award A visionary project located in Bringelly, the First Building is the flagship of Bradfield City Centre, Australia’s newest city in over a century. Designed by Hassell, it houses Stage 1 of the Advanced Manufacturing Readiness Facility and sets a benchmark for sustainable, future-focused construction. Featuring various sustainability initiatives, the building integrates cultural design, advanced engineering, and timber innovation to support Western Sydney’s new manufacturing ecosystem. Learn more about the project here.   The Scots College John Cunningham Student Centre 🏆 Winner: Private Schools: $50 Million - $70 Million 🏆 Finalist: Outstanding Construction Award Located at the heart of the College’s senior school campus in Bellevue Hill, this transformative project reimagined the Stevenson Library into a modern educational hub while honouring the College’s Scottish heritage. Designed in the Scots Baronial style by JCA Architects, the Centre features new learning spaces, pastoral care and counselling facilities, academic research zones, and formal function rooms. The building’s design and construction required meticulous coordination of traditional techniques and modern technologies, resulting in a landmark that blends tradition with innovation. The Centre was also named a finalist for the Outstanding Construction Award, receiving remarkable recognition among larger national construction firms. Learn more about the project here.   Rosebery Engine Yards 🏆 Winner: Restoration/Adaptive Re-Use of an Historic Building: $50 Million & Over Originally built in the 1920s as the Westinghouse factory, Rosebery Engine Yards has been meticulously redeveloped into a vibrant mixed-use retail and lifestyle precinct. The project preserves the site's raw industrial character while introducing high-end finishes, lush gardens, and premium retailers across fashion, food, and design. Rosebery Engine Yards is a striking example of adaptive reuse, blending sustainability with community revitalisation.
