Team Taylor recently joined our subcontractors and suppliers for our Annual Charity Golf Day, held at St Michael’s Golf Club in Little Bay. A much-anticipated event in our annual calendar, players came together for a fun day of golf, networking, and most importantly, fundraising to support the vital work of Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation.
Taylor is proud to have hosted eight annual charity golf days that have raised over $475,000 for NeuRA, Taronga Conservation Society, JDRF (Type 1 Diabetes), and Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation.
For the fifth consecutive year, we partnered with Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation to raise important funds for their outreach programs and mobile home care units across Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide. Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation committed to financially supporting mobile home care units and outreach programs that help make life easier for children with cancer from regional areas.
All funds raised from our 2024 Charity Golf Day will directly go towards the recently launched James Tedesco Outreach Program at the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick, helping to fund a dedicated Outreach Clinical Nurse Consultant. This allows kids with cancer to stay for as long as possible in the comfort of their own homes, and keeps disruption to family everyday life to a minimum.
We would like to thank our Major Sponsor, All Lift Forklifts and Access Equipment, and other key sponsors and companies who pledged money or donated prizes for the raffle. Without your generous support and participation, the day would not be a success. Thank you to the Charity Challenge for helping us organise a great event.
