Bradfield City Centre’s First Building, a state-of-the-art facility, marks a significant milestone in the development of Australia’s newest city in 100 years. This building, which houses Stage 1 of the Advanced Manufacturing Readiness Facility (AMRF) – Western Sydney’s newest world-class manufacturing hub. Designed by Hassell, with First Nations cultural advisory from Djinjama, and built by head contractor Taylor, the First Building takes its design cues from the surrounding natural waterways and the Cumberland Plain. The First Building is surrounded by green, open spaces for workers and visitors to gather. The First Building is a testament to innovative construction practices, sustainable design, and the creation of future-focused jobs and skills in the manufacturing heartland of Western Sydney.

Measures taken to ensure a functional space include the integration of sustainable design elements, the use of low embodied carbon materials, and the incorporation of features that promote occupant comfort and well-being.
