Connect Corporate Centre Stage 3

  • Client — $50 million
  • Division — New Build
  • Location — Mascot, NSW
  • Status — Complete
  • Value - $50 million

Taylor constructed all three stages of Goodman’s new mixed-use precinct located in Mascot. Stage 3 works included construction of a contemporary new 10 storey commercial building comprising 9 levels of office space, ground floor retail and showroom hub as well as a site secure basement carpark.

Stage 3 also involved an extensive landscape feature providing native garden beds, integrated walking tracks and seated areas for people to network. These open and extensive areas allow for an inviting and vibrant atmosphere for travelling and socialising between the three buildings around the business precinct.

The commercial building has an innovative architectural design with top to bottom glass façade, modern interiors, luxury amenities, cafés, restaurants, lift lobbies, gym and end of trip facilities such as bike racks and showers. Stages 2 and 3 interact via the retail precinct and outdoor area located on ground floor whereby this region acts as the core for local staff and the community.

Taylor was able to provide value engineering initiatives whereby basement retaining walls were designed to allow them to be backfilled immediately after their construction. This saved costs to the client as it allowed large amounts of excavated soil to be retained on the site and used as back filled material.
